Tolu has completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology with a minor in Business Management from the University of Manitoba in 2013 which gave her a strong foundation in understanding the Canadian Justice System and the administrative aspect of a business. She recently graduated in July 2019 with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Kent. Whilst obtaining her law degree she was an active member of the Kent Law Clinic which led to her being selected as the Academic Coordination of the Immigration and Asylum Team. Furthermore, she was elected as the Vice-President of The European Law Student Association 2018 -2019. Tolu is currently working on obtaining her Qualification for the National Committee on Accreditation by 2020.

Prior to attending law school, she acquired work experience in a boutique plaintiff-oriented insurance litigation firm as a Client Intake Specialist. She was engaged in screening potential cases, facts and information gathering, and briefing the Lawyers of the firm.

During her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading about self-development, and spending time with family.
