Senior Associate, Barrister & Solicitor (Alberta)
Craig is a litigation and insolvency lawyer who has successfully represented clients before the Alberta Provincial Court, Court of Queen’s Bench, and Court of Appeal, as well as the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Craig enjoys a broad civil and corporate commercial litigation practice, and his areas of expertise include business and shareholder disputes, contract breaches, leases and the sale of land, and construction. Craig further has expertise in debt recovery, personal property security law and priority disputes, insolvency proceedings, and fraudulent preferences and asset transfers. Craig has an interest in confidential business information and injunctive relief.
Craig received a Master’s degree in international history from the London School of Economics (with distinction) before returning to Canada to study and practice law. Craig completed his JD at the University of Alberta, during which time he also studied at the University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Law and interned at the Hong Kong branch of an international law firm. Craig was called to the bar in Alberta in 2012, and practised law with a national firm in Edmonton before joining Knight LLP. Craig was born and raised in Calgary.
