Associate, Barrister & Solicitor (Alberta)
Caitlin has appeared in the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, the Provincial Court of Alberta Civil Division, Youth Criminal Court, Traffic Court and various administrative tribunals. Her practice includes all areas of civil and commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Knight LLP as an associate, Caitlin obtained her law degree from Dalhousie University in 2015. Upon completion, she articled with the City of Calgary’s in-house law department where she gained extensive hands-on experience in several areas of law, particularly in bylaw prosecutions, civil litigation and insurance litigation.
While attending law school, Caitlin competed for Dalhousie in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where her written submission won first place in Canada. She also won the R. Graham Murray Prize for the highest standing in evidence. Prior to law school, Caitlin obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in political science from St. Francis Xavier University. In her free time she enjoys cooking, fine dining, board games, curling and is a major film buff.
